A 14-year wait for all-new LEGO Indiana Jones sets is nearly over

All-new LEGO Indiana Jones sets will be arriving next week, following the theme’s absence from store shelves for nearly 14 years.

There’s just one week to go until the long-awaited return of the LEGO Indiana Jones theme, with three new sets due to launch on April 1. Fans eagerly-awaiting the arrival of 77012 Fighter Plane Chase, 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb and 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol can soon get their hands on the models ahead of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hitting the big screen on June 30, 2023.

LEGO Indiana Jones sets last arrived on store shelves back in 2009, with builds from the then-current theme featuring the likes of 7195 Ambush in Cairo, 7199 The Temple of Doom and 7683 Fight on the Flying Wing, amongst others. In total, 18 LEGO Indiana Jones sets were originally created based on all four movies at the time (plus two video games), including a limited edition model that was only ever made available at San Diego Comic-Con 2008.

The good news for fans of the famous archaeologist adventurer is that the long wait for new LEGO Indiana Jones sets is nearly over and in seven day’s time they’ll be able to experience all the fortune and glory of the franchise once again. There’s currently no word yet from the LEGO Group as to whether there will be any additional LEGO Indiana Jones products released this year beyond the initial wave, or any based on the upcoming fifth film in the series, but we’ll certainly be keeping our fingers crossed for more potential future sets.
