Like the recent Batcycle build, 42127 The Batman – Batmobile is based on The Batman, the film that was released at the start of 2022, with a sequel on the way in 2025. It’s part of a larger wave for the movie and is the first LEGO Technic Batmobile model. 

The build uses a few light bricks to match the effects from the film and the eight-cylinder engine has moving pistons using a familiar technique for LEGO Technic enthusiasts, but with transparent bricks to showcase the feature. 

For £71.99, LEGO Technic 42127 The Batman – Batmobile can be yours in John Lewis’ current sale. 

Steering is included too as well as opening doors and a hood for maximum accuracy. Though it’s not the same scale, it can be paired with the LEGO Technic Batcycle based on The Batman for an even better homage to the movie.
