2022 LEGO Christmas GWPs are compatible with 2021 gift too
40564 Winter Elves Scene is now available for a little bit longer and its design makes it compatible with the 2021 Christmas gift.
For an extra-long Christmas LEGO diorama this holiday season, 40564 Winter Elves Scene can be combined with the previously revealed (but not yet released) 40565 workshop gift. However, the snow diorama design and its forced perspective may seem familiar.
40484 Santa’s Front Yard from 2021 has a similar design but with a star-filled night in the background rather than a mountain range. Still, it raised snow-covered base should sit nicely next to 40564 Winter Elves Scene and 40565 for an expanded Christmas display.
We don’t yet know how 40565 will be distributed as it has only been seen in the instructions for 40564 Winter Elves Scene at the time of writing. Still, 40564 Winter Elves Scene works best with 40484 Santa’s Front Yard and that GWP is available now as part of the Black Friday 2022 deals on LEGO.com. It is being offered with orders of £170 / $170 / €170 or more until November 28.
40484 Santa’s Front Yard was first offered in the winter of 2021 but it has popped up on LEGO.com since then including earlier this year so it may return in the future if you’re wanting to combine two or three of these sets.
