LEGO 30629 Finnius Dash hints at rumoured 2K football game

A strange new polybag has appeared on the LEGO Group’s policies page, suggesting that rumours of a football game from 2K may be accurate.

30629 Finnius Dash has been revealed on the Certifications and Policies page on LEGO.com via an official document available to all, providing a low-quality image with the name of the polybag.

It appears to include a shark-head-wearing football player with the logo for the game studio 2K in the corner, as well as branding for LEGO Games which was previously rumoured to be receiving a full theme.

The presence of a 2K logo implies that this could be for the rumoured LEGO football game that surfaced earlier this year. To summarise, the rumour was that a LEGO football game would be released in time for the currently-ongoing FIFA World Cup with an open-world racing game and a third based on a ‘major sports franchise’.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, a football-adjacent polybag alongside this report suggests that there may be some accuracy to it, but take these rumours with a pinch of salt for now.

The availability of 30629 Finnius Dash has yet to be revealed but previously, minifigure polybags have been included as part of premium editions of LEGO titles, including Blue Milk Luke Skywalker in the deluxe edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
