A new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre has been announced

Another LEGOLAND Discovery centre has been announced with this new location being called a ‘next generation’ version of the LEGO-themed attraction.

Merlin Entertainments has announced that a LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is set to open at the Docks Bruxsel shopping centre in Brussels, Belgium. This new location will likely contain the usual selection of experiences such as a Miniland and some kind of interactive attraction but otherwise, details are sparse.

This comes following the announcement that Merlin Entertainments were looking to develop a LEGOLAND Resort in Belgium, but it is currently unknown if this will be the only result of that study or if a larger destination will one day open in the region. For the time being, we can only await the opening of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Belgium.

“We are delighted to be opening this new Legoland Discovery Centre in Belgium by partnering with Docks Bruxsel,” said senior divisional director Midway Europe and global new openings at Merlin Entertainments Meike Lippert. “We look forward to revealing more special details over the coming months ahead of welcoming our first visitors in summer 2022.”

We’ll keep you updated as these details arrive on the new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and if this attraction can spur enough interest in the first LEGOLAND resort for Belgium. The opening of this will also likely mean that it will come with the second LEGO Store in the city.
