Amazon UK has slashed the price of one of the most popular LEGO Pokémon display sets currently available, with a highly sought-after build reaching nearly its lowest-ever price.
Part of the first wave of LEGO Pokémon sets, 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball is currently available for 21% off on Amazon UK, dropping the price from its usual £179.99 to just £142.90.
That makes this nearly the cheapest the 2,050-piece display model has been on Amazon UK since it arrived on shelves, although there is no indication how long the deal will last.
The set recreates the world’s most recognisable Pokémon, with Pikachu bursting out of a brick-built Poké Ball on a display stand, complete with an electric lightning trail effect that brings the iconic character to life.
With more than 2,000 pieces, the build offers a satisfying challenge while creating a seriously impressive display piece. It measures 35cm tall, 26cm wide, and 39cm deep, making 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball a standout addition to any Pokémon fan’s collection rather than just another LEGO set sitting on a shelf.
The finished model takes around four hours to complete and combines clever building techniques with plenty of character. At £142.90, it’s a significant saving on a set that rarely sees discounts this large – and there is no guarantee 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball will stay at this price for long.
