Andor teaser trailer and new Star Wars show announced

Star Wars Celebration 2022 has begun and that means new announcements for shows based on a galaxy far, far away, including an Andor trailer.

Brace yourself for plenty of Star Wars announcements as one of the first panels at the annual Star Wars Celebration event is covering upcoming series releasing on Disney+ in the future. One of the shows showcased at the event was Andor, which now has a teaser trailer.

It seems that Andor will feature a mix of politics, action and intrigue judging by the trailer and we can see a variety of vehicles for the LEGO Star Wars design team to potentially be inspired by, as they are rumoured to be.

Andor will release on August 31, 2022. However, it wasn’t the announcement as Skeleton Crew starring Jude Law from Jon Watts, Jon Favreau, Christopher Ford and Dave Filoni was also announced. That’s arriving in 2023, and plot details are being kept under wraps at the time of writing.

Of course, it’s possible that Skeleton Crew could be the subject of a LEGO Star Wars set in 2023, though we’ll have to wait for confirmation to know for sure.

A LEGO panel at Star Wars Celebration starts tomorrow, with a new short film releasing on the same day to possibly coincide with it.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
