Another Mob Vote winner could be coming to LEGO Minecraft
As an annual event at MINECON, the winner of the 2022 Mob Vote is coming to the game soon, paving the way for a LEGO appearance.
The Minecraft blog has just revealed more details regarding the Sniffer, the winner of the 2022 Mob Vote that will arrive in the game as part of the 1.20 update.
Able to sniff out seeds after hatching from an egg, the Sniffer is the latest in a line of fan-voted creatures to be added to Minecraft. So far, every single one of them has appeared in a LEGO set, including two that are available right now.

Not counting the Moobloom, since that was part of the only Minecraft Earth set, the game where it debuted before losing the 2020 Mob Vote, every winner has had a LEGO figure and it seems likely that the Sniffer will follow suit.
The Sniffer is notably bigger than the other winners as shown in screenshots but its particularly-blocky design lends itself well to LEGO bricks. Also confirmed for the next Minecraft update is a long-awaited feature showcased for a previous update that never came to fruition.
While searching for Sniffer eggs, you may find suspicious sand that could feature an egg or a pottery shard. The latter can be combined together to build a full pot with designs. This could also appear in a future LEGO Minecraft set with built-in customisation.
At the time of writing, the most recent wave of LEGO Minecraft sets includes some of the game’s newest features including the Warden and Allay.
