Missing LEGO Ideas 10K project mysteriously returns with no explanation

A 10K LEGO Ideas submission that mysteriously disappeared from the platform over a week ago has suddenly reappeared, with no explanation from the LEGO Group.

Earlier this month, we reported that Dean’s Baby Supernatural (TV Show) had vanished from the LEGO Ideas website after reaching the required 10,000 fan votes needed to enter the review stage.

Any links to the project had disappeared, and there was no official explanation for why the submission had been removed. However, the project has now quietly returned to the platform, bringing the total number of submissions in the current 10K milestone to 50.

This is not the first time a project has been removed from a LEGO Ideas review. In 2023, several successful submissions, including The NeverEnding Story, Gothic Castle, and The Hearthian’s Ship from Outer Wilds, were removed from consideration after reaching the required fan support.

The project recreates Dean Winchester’s iconic 1967 Chevrolet Impala from Supernatural in 450 pieces, complete with the details fans of the long-running TV series will recognise. Now that it has returned to LEGO Ideas, the submission will continue through the review process with the same chance of being selected for an official LEGO set as the other 10K projects currently under consideration.

While there is still no word on why the project disappeared in the first place, its return means fans of Supernatural can once again hope to see Dean’s legendary car become an official LEGO set.

LEGO Ideas sets in the second 2026 review

The LEGO Group has recently revealed two fan designed sets which will be hitting sets this year: 21372 La Catrina and 21369 The X-Files.
