Avatar: The Way of Water is now the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time, passing the $2 billion mark worldwide.
It seems safe to say that Avatar: The Way of Water has gone down swimmingly with audiences around the world as following its previous success and likely guaranteeing more sequels, the second film in the franchise has now passed $2 billion at the box office according to Deadline.
That puts it at the sixth spot in the highest-grossing films ever made, beating Spider-Man: No Way Home and just behind Avengers: Infinity War after only just over a month on the big screen.
With the first Avatar movie being the highest-grossing movie at nearly $3 billion, it has yet to be seen whether The Way of Water can match its success, but it’s certainly plausible with its current momentum.
The LEGO Group capitalised on the success of the sequel before it hit cinemas and there are five models based on it now available. We’ve reviewed all of them and you can find our thoughts by clicking on the relevant links in the table below.
