Behind the scenes of Star Wars: Ahsoka’s recent reunion

Ahead of a new episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka later today, a video exploring the long-awaited reunion last week has been revealed.

Be aware that this article will feature spoilers for the fifth episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka with the sixth streaming hours from the time of writing on Disney+.

Shadow Warrior, the fifth part of Star Wars: Ahsoka, features a live-action reunion between Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker in the World Between Worlds from Star Wars: Rebels. Anakin is played by Hayden Christensen in the new episode, following his previous return as the character in Obi-Wan Kenobi and exactly how this came to pass is the subject of a new behind-the-scenes video.

For those eagerly awaiting the sixth episode after last week’s cliffhanger, the video will surely help to pass the time as the series journeys to a brand new galaxy, something new for live-action Star Wars projects. Being able to see how the shots in the episode were recreated before special effects were added is interesting too with an especially bare set used.

The last Anakin Skywalker minifigure in a matching outfit, with dirt stains, was last released in the retired 75281 Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor from 2020. The minifigure currently fetches an average of £9.19 on BrickLink. Ahsoka’s minifigure based on the series is available now in 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, should you wish to recreate your favourite moments from the episode.

The sixth episode of Star Wars Ahsoka is streaming on Disney+ later today at 6pm PT and three models based on the series are available now.

It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
