Better image of LEGO City 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue GWP

A better image of the upcoming LEGO City 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue has debuted on the building instructions portal.

Presumed to be a gift-with-purchase (from both the product number and its initial building instructions listing, which included the acronym GWP), 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue includes a large emergency vehicle, a mountain bike, three minifigures and a tree. It looks like a pretty substantial freebie, so we could be looking at a relatively high spend threshold when the time comes.

Exactly what and when that will be has yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group, but we can at least take a closer look at everything the LEGO City set has to offer in a (slightly) larger image, courtesy of the building instructions portal. Given that listing is already live, we surely can’t be too far away from a full reveal of the set at LEGO.com.

And if that is the case, there’s a good chance we may be able to get our hands on the model as soon as the end of this week. The current gift-with-purchase, 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua, runs through February 9 (or while stocks last). The LEGO Group’s next gift-with-purchase could well be 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue, potentially starting from February 10.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
