LEGO City 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue GWP officially confirmed

An upcoming LEGO City GWP set has now been officially confirmed, with 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue arriving at some point in 2023.

There are just a few days left to snap up 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua, with the retro set currently the only GWP available from LEGO.com and official stores. The promotional model is due to expire on February 9, 2023 and there’s been no word so far from the LEGO Group as to what may follow it.

However, thanks to both the Building Instructions and Product Certification pages, we might now have some idea as to what the next LEGO GWP set could be. Listings have appeared today for 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue, accompanied by the small image of the model below. The set appears to include the emergency vehicle with large off-road tyres, a mountain bike, and minifigures of two paramedics carrying a stretcher plus an injured cyclist.

The set is listed on the Buildings Instructions pages as, ‘40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue tbd-GWP-03-City,’ but there’s currently no information regarding a potential piece count, spending threshold or when the promotional offer is due to start. It’s possible the model may be available from February 10, 2023, replacing 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua, but there’s been no official confirmation from the LEGO Group so far.

Recent rumours suggest that another vehicle-based GWP may also be arriving this month, with 40586 Removal Van said to be a companion piece to 10312 Jazz Club. However, that remains pure speculation, so do treat the information with a pinch of salt for now.
