More details on rumoured LEGO Icons 10312 Jazz Club gift-with-purchase

More details have emerged on the rumoured gift-with-purchase for LEGO Icons 10312 Jazz Club – and it’s no longer said to be a pizza delivery truck.

Originally believed to be launching alongside 10312 Jazz Club in January, set number 40586 was thought to be a promotional model closely associated with the pizzeria in the latest modular building. Instagram user legocity_prez now reports (via Brick Clicker) that the set will actually be a removal van, potentially cutting its ties with 10312 Jazz Club.

That may also explain why it hasn’t materialised on shelves yet, more than a month after the newest LEGO modular building first launched. According to the same source, 40586 Removal Van will be available from February 21 to March 3 when spending at least £160 / $160 through official LEGO channels.

If that’s true, it means the gift-with-purchase will be live when dozens of new sets launch on March 1, across Star Wars, Speed Champions, Technic, Creator 3-in-1 and more. As long as stock lasts that long, of course – there’s always a chance the promo could sell out before we reach the end of February. And this is obviously all dependent on this rumour being true…

10312 Jazz Club is available now for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
