How to build a display stand for your LEGO F1 Collectible Race Cars with Pick a Brick
The LEGO Group has released building instructions and a parts list for a display stand for the upcoming 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars.
The snazzily-titled Car Display Stand consists of 149 pieces, all of which will apparently be available to order directly through Pick a Brick at some point in the near future, and builds into a thematic display base for all 12 cars in the next series of blind-boxed Collectibles. The building instructions and parts list are available to view for free at LEGO.com right now.
There’s also a landing page for the model at Pick a Brick, where you’ll eventually be able to add all the parts to your bag and order them together without hunting them down individually online. The page says the model is currently ‘out of stock’, so presumably the LEGO Group is in the process of pulling together the necessary elements.

If you’d like to try assembling the display base from your own parts collection, or are happy to seek out the required pieces individually on Pick a Brick or through alternative vendors (such as BrickLink), you can check out the parts list here. There are only 13 different types of pieces in the mix, so it shouldn’t prove too taxing to collect the elements yourself.
71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars launches May 1, 2025 and includes tiny models of all 10 Formula 1 teams, along with bonus Academy and generic F1 designs to round out a full dozen cars. Each one comes with a unique helmet corresponding to its particular team branding. They’re once again packaged in blind boxes with scannable codes, which are already in Brick Search ready for their release next month.
You can also pre-order a complete case of 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars at Brick Deals for 15% off if you fancy avoiding the hunt altogether.
