Chris Pratt reveals The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part’s Rex Dangervest minifigure

A new character from The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part has been revealed by Chris Pratt – Rex Dangervest.

In The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, which will be released next February, Chris Pratt will be voicing a second character in addition to Emmet Brickowski. Parodying his action hero characters such as Star Lord and Owen Grady, Rex Dangervest will be quite different to the jovial construction worker.

The two videos that the actor has shared on Instagram reveal the physical Rex Dangervest minifigure, as well as the character’s voice – one of the clips even features a cameo from the Star Lord minifigure.

“you’re getting twice the Pratt-ction! (Pratt-ction is a registered trademark if ChrisPrattEmterprises. If you even try to use it anywhere I’ll find out it and I’ll sue you and you’ll have to pay me fifty thousand dollars cash),” the actor said in the accompanying text. Pratt also mentioned that a new trailer for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be arriving tomorrow, which will be the first new footage since the teaser trailer back in June.

Names of the sets that will be released to tie in with the film were recently revealed, giving few hints about the plot of the film.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be released in February 2019.
