Civil engineering project kicks off LEGO Ideas first 2025 review

Just after the third 2024 review has ended, the LEGO Ideas first 2025 review has started with a civil engineering build showcasing types of bridges.

MOCingbird is officially the first LEGO Ideas member in the first 2025 review, starting the next round of fan-designed projects that could become official LEGO Ideas sets. Their collection of bridges has reached 10,000 supporters on the platform with everything from a Cantilever to a Tied-Arch bridge represented in the submission.

A pair of minifigures accompany the seven bridge builds which can be connected together for a joint display. It’s the second time this project has made it into a review round – the first of which was the second 2022 review where it reached 10,000 supporters in 96 days. Now, it has another chance at becoming an official LEGO Ideas set, but there’s a long way to go for the first 2025 review.

Though it’s the first entry into the first 2025 review, the latest LEGO Ideas round will keep accepting submissions until May 5 and it’s unlikely that the bridge collection will be alone for very long.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
