DK Books shares updated look for LEGO Cyborg Spider-Man

A LEGO Cyborg Spider-Man minifigure has had a glow-up ahead of the release of DK Books’ Spider-Verse book.

DK’s LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Explore the Spider-Verse is due for release on May 1 (or June 1 if you’re in the US) and was originally revealed back in January, along with the minifigure that comes with it. As you might be able to spot in the picture above, however, there was a flaw in the minifigure’s printing.

The right eye was slightly off, with the white section of the mask overlapping outside of the black outline. Despite the minifigure being a cyborg version of Spider-Man, it didn’t seem like an intentional choice – and has now been rectified by DK Books.

A fresh image of the minifigure has now been published, offering both a clearer look at it and reassurance that the misprint was not some obscure part of the design.
