Does LEGO Star Wars 75220 Sandcrawler measure up?

Some sets have tough acts to follow, and in the case of LEGO Star Wars 75220 Sandcrawler, it followed the Ultimate Collector Series release – is it a set for critical fans to take a second look at?

LEGO Star Wars 75059 Sandcrawler is something special. At 3,296 pieces, it is able to offer an enormous, appealing model that captures the look of the Tatooine based vehicle while also offering some minifigure interactivity. For fans of the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) sets, it is the one to get. When 75220 Sandcrawler was released last year, many collectors immediately dismissed it, feeling that it did not live up the UCS version.

While getting incredible UCS LEGO Star Wars sets is great, fans should not overlook other interesting releases simply because a set like 75059 Sandcrawler executes a vehicle so well. In the case of 75220 Sandcrawler, it has a scale all of its own, that is well worth LEGO devotees exploring.
