Double LEGO Insiders points and free Easter gift start down under

A pair of deals have started in Australia, including double LEGO Insiders points, potentially offering a preview of what to expect tomorrow.

The official online store in Australia is now on March 24 and following the end of the free Easter tote bag, 40764 Easter Bunny Surprise is now available in the region with purchases of $120 or more until April 2. Usually, the major deals that come to the Australia storefront also come to the UK, the US and Europe and that threshold converts to around £70 / $75 / €75. Stay tuned as we near March 24 to see whether the free set offered worldwide soon.

The most interesting of the new offers in Australia is a new select-set double points event but this time, the selection is much wider than just including City, Friends, DREAMZzz, NINJAGO and Creator 3-in-1.

The region’s selection of sets with double points (until April 2) includes LEGO Icons too, meaning every current modular building is eligible for the promotion. That’s essentially 10% cashback on sets that aren’t usually offered outside official stores and are therefore less likely to be discounted. There’s some other notable builds in the selection too, including both current NINJAGO City sets.

We can only hope that both deals land in other regions tomorrow and that the set selection in the double points offer is replicated worldwide. Note that such deals with set selections can see their ranges differ greatly between regions, so don’t go planning your next purchase just yet.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
