Double points on LEGO Star Trek set during May the 4th

Double points on the first and only LEGO Star Trek set are now available, just in time for a shopping event celebrating a different sci-fi franchise.

You can now score double points on 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D worldwide, even though May the 4th is now on, celebrating all things Star Wars. Whether planned or by sheer coincidence, the LEGO Group has chosen the perfect sci-fi set to offer double points on during this event, ensuring that anyone who prefers Star Trek over Star Wars still has a chance at a deal.

Looking past this connection, 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D costs £349.99 / $399.99 / €379.99 and would normally net you 2,700 points worth £16.88 when put towards a discount on a future purchase. Picking it up now, though, will net you 5,400 points instead, worth £33.75 off a future discount.

It’s not a bad time to pick up the one and only Star Trek set, even if the current gift-with-purchase is only for Star Wars models. The terms and conditions state that this offer will last until May 6, and that it also extends to 45202 Mars Mission Science Kit and 45200 Moon Mission Science Kit.

There’s even more good news for folks in Australia, where 40768 Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod still comes free with orders of the larger Star Trek model, even when double points are available. That gift has long since sold out in most other regions, but worth noting either way.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
