Double VIP points available on LEGO CITY 60292 Town Center

The LEGO Group is currently offering double VIP points on a brand new LEGO CITY set, 60292 Town Center.

Until January 31, you can bag 1,440 points on the 2021 set – twice the normal amount of 720. You’ll need to be a VIP member to qualify, but given it’s free to sign up to the LEGO Group’s loyalty program, there’s really no reason not to.

The standard VIP scheme is equivalent to 5% ‘cashback’ in points to spend on future purchases, so the current offer adds up to 10%. That’s not a bad deal on a brand new set, so if 60292 Town Center has caught your eye, this could be all the excuse you need to dive in.

The 790-piece set is the largest of 20 new LEGO CITY products that have just arrived at LEGO.com, and is anchored around the theme’s new road plate system. At £89.99 / $99.99, purchasing 60292 Town Center alone will qualify for 40448 Vintage Car, which is currently free with an £85 / $85 spend.

That offer will also run until January 31 – or while stocks last. January’s other gift-with-purchase, LEGO Harry Potter 30628 The Monster Book of Monsters, has already disappeared from the online store, so you might want to act fast.

It’s not the only 2021 set offering double VIP points at LEGO.com: NINJAGO fans can also earn twice the regular amount on 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger in January.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
