Embrace the magic for the latest LEGO World Builder project

The theme for the most recent LEGO World Builder banner design project has been revealed, inviting artists to bolster the platform’s portfolio of images for a share of the project fund.

The Myths and Legends image designing event for LEGO World Builder has now come to a close, ushering in the next themed banner project with Magic and Illusions being the basis for the next phase of the art-gathering program.

As a reminder, these LEGO World Builder projects differ from the standard formula of LEGO Ideas contests, which always offer some kind of prize for the best build or another type of entry. Instead, the team is looking for any artists to help fill their gallery of pre-made images to inspire architects in making their next world with those chosen to have their images featured on the platform receiving a portion of a $750 project fund. Only three designs will be picked for this partular banner design project each receiving $250 for their work.

With the more complicated nature of these events compared to the LEGO Ideas equivalents, there are few more rules that artists will need to follow including not infringing on properties that are not fully owned by the LEGO Group and avoiding any and all text in your images. You can find a full list of guidelines and details on submitting your design on the project page.

LEGO World Builder has set itself apart from Ideas thanks to the NINJAGO short it has already managed to release and the other world in active development is a brick-based holiday special. Entrants should ensure their pictures are submitted before August 31.
