Every LEGO Back to the Future set and minifigure
LEGO Back to the Future has a new entry in early 2026, but the partnership goes back over a decade as the new minifigures travel through time.
The LEGO Group has just lifted the curtain on its latest Back to the Future set, bringing the total number of models based on the movie franchise up to six. The last LEGO Back to the Future release prompted a guide to the franchise’s builds. This time, we’re taking a closer look at the many Back to the Future minifigures, as well.
Here’s a look at every LEGO Back to the Future set released so far, or releasing early next year.
21103 Back to the Future Time Machine / Marty McFly (1985) and Doc Brown (1985)
Price: £34.99 / $34.99 / €39.99 Pieces: 401 Available: Retired in 2014

The set that started it all is 2013’s 21103 Back to the Future Time Machine. This was back when LEGO Ideas was called CUUSOO, submitted by m.togami and Sakuretsu. The original LEGO DeLorean showcases just how far the rest of the sets have come.
Despite the differences between the new sets and the original model, 21103 Back to the Future Time Machine offers two minifigures, whose designs would appear once more before being remade 13 years later.
71201 Back to the Future Level Pack / Marty McFly (1985)
Price: £29.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 94 Available: Retired in 2017

LEGO Dimensions offered the LEGO Group a chance to return to Back to the Future and briefly bring back the LEGO Ideas minifigures, including in 71201 Back to the Future Level Pack. The larger level pack includes a miniature model of the DeLorean with functioning doors, as well as a stand for the pink hover board using an exclusive element.
Marty’s minifigure is identical to the original LEGO Ideas set, save for the LEGO Dimensions stand on which he is placed, printed with his name.
71230 Doc Brown Fun Pack / Doc Brown (1985)
Price: £14.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 69 Available: Retired in 2017

The other LEGO Dimensions Back to the Future set is 71230 Doc Brown Fun Pack, which stands out from the rest of the collection for two important reasons. While Doc’s minifigure is nearly identical to his original LEGO Ideas appearance, this set debuted a specialised hair piece which has been used for many other characters since then.
This is also the only LEGO Back to the Future set to depict a vehicle other than the iconic DeLorean. The train time machine from 1885 makes its only LEGO appearance in this set.
41611 Marty McFly & Doc Brown / No minifigures
Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 240 Available: Retired in 2018

LEGO Back to the Future deviated from minifigures briefly in 2018 with a pair of BrickHeadz based on Doc and Marty’s 1985 outfits. This is the second most affordable LEGO Back to the Future set ever released, capturing the important details of the two characters in BrickHeadz form.
10300 Back to the Future Time Machine / Marty McFly (2015) and Doc Brown (2015
Price: £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 Pieces: 1,872 Available: Now

10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is by far the biggest LEGO Back to the Future set so far, depicting the iconic time machine at a much larger scale than any other model, with the necessary accessories to build the car from all three movies. It’s still available for you to pick up, as well.
The minifigure selection in this set wisely avoids doubling up on the new 2026 minifigures by recreating Doc and Marty’s outfits from 2015. Whether this was intentional, given that this set was devised long before 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future was revealed, is unknown. Either way, it’s entirely to the benefit of fans.

The new LEGO 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future is set to launch in early 2026 as the latest addition to the LEGO Group’s expanding Back to the Future collection. The model revisits the concept of a minifigure-scale time machine for the first time since 2013, using stickers and new elements to properly capture the look of the DeLorean.
There are two new minifigures in this set, remaking the original two minifigures after 13 years with updated face prints, torso prints and even the DREAMZzz’ puffy vest element for Marty, which means his denim jacket will be printed underneath.
