One of the most impressive LEGO cars ever created zooms onto shelves in just a few weeks, joining a long line of large-scale, non-Technic LEGO vehicle models.
For almost two decades, the LEGO Group has released detailed display cars, beginning with the Advanced Models range before evolving into Creator Expert and, eventually, LEGO Icons.
The newly announced 11381 Jaguar E-Type is one of the most visually stunning additions yet, becoming the 25th car in a line-up that stretches back to 2008. From huge off-road vehicles and iconic Formula 1 racers to timeless classics, the collection has explored almost every corner of the automotive world.

Launching on August 1 for £129.99 / $139.99 / €139.99, 11381 Jaguar E-Type joins 11375 Ferrari F2004 & Michael Schumacher and 11376 Ford Model T as the three LEGO Icons cars released in 2026.
It marks the first time since 2020 that more than two cars have joined the line-up in a single year, although it seems unlikely another will arrive before the end of 2026.
However, the surprise addition of a third vehicle could suggest the LEGO Group is willing to expand the LEGO Icons car collection beyond its usual two-per-year schedule.
