The LEGO Group’s latest seasonal village collection begins this September, but what could we hope to see fill out this new spooky theme?
The LEGO Group is launching a brand-new seasonal collection with 11383 Mayor Manor, which arrives on shelves on September 1. While the set kicks off what will likely become an annual range, a seasonal village does not quite feel complete with just one building.
The Midnight Valley collection’s spooky and scary aesthetic opens the door to countless possibilities, from gothic landmarks to monster-filled businesses. Here are 10 sets the new collection needs next.
Ghost Railway Station

Every great LEGO world needs a way to arrive, and a haunted railway station would immediately give Midnight Valley a stronger sense of place.
The spooky equivalent of 10361 Holiday Express Train, this build could connect the entire collection while introducing exciting minifigures, including a ghostly conductor and an array of monster passengers.
Vampire Manor
The build could match the scale and feel of 71040 The Disney Castle
A Vampire Manor could become the flagship set of the entire theme.
A huge gothic castle filled with secret passages, hidden rooms and an underground crypt would perfectly define what Midnight Valley is all about. Of course, the set would also need a collection of vampire minifigures to bring the manor to life.
Haunted Hotel

A haunted hotel would be a perfect addition to the collection thanks to its huge minifigure potential.
While a giant, run-down hotel filled with zombie workers is exciting enough, the variety of rooms could introduce a wide range of creatures and monsters. Vampires, werewolves and mummies could all take up residence, creating a LEGO version of Hotel Transylvania. The set could even include a terrified non-monster family checking in for an unforgettable stay.
Clock Tower

A gothic clock tower could become the visual centrepiece of Midnight Valley and create a landmark fans immediately associate with the theme.
The build could act as the display centre for the entire collection, with details such as gargoyles, bats and mysterious creatures hiding throughout the structure.
Zombie Restaurant

Every town needs somewhere for its residents to gather, and a zombie-run restaurant could add plenty of personality to Midnight Valley.
A dark, abandoned exterior hiding a bright and colourful zombie-themed interior would create an excellent contrast. The set could also introduce a fun selection of monster minifigures while adding some much-needed humour to the collection.
Witch’s Apothecary

A smaller-scale build, a witch’s apothecary could introduce a different side of Midnight Valley by adding a fantasy element to the collection.
Filled with spells, potions and unusual creatures kept in cages, the set could offer some of the most creative minifigures yet. Perhaps it could even include a half-werewolf, half-vampire character who drank the wrong potion and now needs the witch’s help to return to normal.
Haunted Cemetery and Hidden Bar

9464 The Vampire Hearse
No Halloween village feels complete without a spooky cemetery, but LEGO could add a humorous twist.
Imagine a tall graveyard build with a hearse and crumbling tombstones, only for one crypt to reveal a hidden underground speakeasy filled with monster customers and performers. It would combine classic Halloween imagery with the playful storytelling LEGO does best.
Monster Clinic

A monster clinic would add another everyday service to Midnight Valley while giving it a unique twist.
Picture vampire dentists who are far too enthusiastic about their patients’ teeth, or Dr Frankenstein and Dr Jekyll working away in the operating room – although whether anyone should trust them is another question. The set would show Midnight Valley as a functioning town while maintaining its strange and spooky identity.
Monster Fire Station

A monster fire station immediately evokes one thing: 75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters.
Instead of Ghostbusters protecting the city, imagine a fire station run by ghosts who are causing more problems than they solve. The comedic twist would fit perfectly within Midnight Valley while adding another essential town building.
Fortune Teller’s Caravan

Finally, a fortune teller’s caravan would be the perfect smaller-scale addition to the collection.
The movable caravan could be placed alongside any other Midnight Valley build, adding mystery and storytelling opportunities. With crystal balls, mysterious predictions and magical details, it could become one of the more charming sets in the range – and give us our first fortune teller minifigure since 2013.

Although we will likely have to wait until next year to discover what comes next for the Midnight Valley collection, you can get ahead of the game by pre-ordering 11383 Mayor Manor now.
Releasing on September 1, the 1,420-piece build will retail for £99.99 / $119.99 / €109.99.
