Every LEGO Disney character with a mini-doll and minifigure – February 2023

The reveal of the first Moana minifigure has highlighted a few more LEGO Disney characters that have both a mini-doll and a minifigure.

In 43212 Disney Celebration Train, the selection of minifigures covers an array of properties with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Woody, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Moana all included. Before this set, Moana has only been represented as a mini-doll but she’s not the first character to now have both forms of LEGO figure.

While we wait for the launch of 43212 Disney Celebration Train on April 1, 2023, here’s a look at every LEGO Disney minifigure with both a mini-doll and a minifigure.

8 – Ursula

Featured in the first series of LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures, 71012, in 2016 and 2017’s 41145 Ariel and the Magical Spell as a mini-doll, both of Ursula’s LEGO appearances use a unique element for her tentacles.

7 – Malifecent

Maleficent’s first appearance was as a minifigure in the 2016 LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures series though in 2018 she returned using the specialised headpiece in 41152 Sleeping Beauty’s Fairytale Castle

6 – Jasmine

Jasmine’s debut LEGO appearance was as a mini-doll in 41061 Jasmine’s Exotic Palace in 2015 but four years later she too returned using her specialised hair brick in the second LEGO Disney minifigure series.

5 – Elsa

Considering the popularity of Frozen, it’s not surprising that Elsa first appeared as a mini-doll in 2015 in 41062 Elsa’s Sparkling Ice Castle. However, those who prefer minifigures had the chance to pick her up in the second LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures range – 71024 – from 2019. Her second appearance also featured a new hair element, different from the mini-doll.

4 – Anna

Completing the Frozen duo, Anna’s mini-doll was first included in 2015’s initial range of Frozen models. However, she joined her sister in the second LEGO Disney minifigure series with an exclusive hair piece.

3 – Ariel

Ariel’s debut LEGO figure was one for DUPLO in 2013 but a mini-doll followed soon after in 2013’s 41050 Ariel’s Amazing Treasures. The first and only minifigure for her came in the 2016 LEGO Disney minifigure series.

2 – Aladdin

Pairing with Jasmine, Aladdin was featured first as a minifigure in the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 with a specialised hair and hat brick. However, it was featured again in the Aladdin mini-doll in 2019’s 41161 Aladdin’s and Jasmine’s Palace Adventures.

1 – Moana

First appearing in 2016 as a mini-doll, Moana’s initial minifigure is included in 43212 Disney Celebration Train, using her unique hair piece with a selection of other rare or exclusive minifigures.
