Every LEGO Star Wars midi-scale ship – 2024 update
LEGO Star Wars’ collection of midi-scale ships is nearly doubling in size later this year as the range spans as far back as over a decade ago.
For the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, three new midi-scale ships are launching on March 1 in by far the biggest update to the ongoing selection yet. You may not be completely acquainted with this selection though as it didn’t start with 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer or even 77904 Nebulon-B Frigate.
Here’s a guide to the entire range of LEGO Star Wars midi-scale ships so far up to 2024 for the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars.
7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon
Price: £34.99 / $39.99 Pieces: 356 Release date: July 1, 2009
Before 75375 Millennium Falcon, the similarly-sized 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon launched as the first midi-scale LEGO Star Wars set in 2009. It’s not quite as detailed as the 2024 model but depicts the iconic ship suitably using 356 pieces.
8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer
Price: £34.99 / $39.99 Pieces: 423 Release date: August 1, 2010
One year after 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon, 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer was released. Unlike 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon, the Star Destroyer has not been revisited in the collection just yet. It’s also worth noting that 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer is the first to include a display stand, while 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon relied solely on its miniature landing gear.
77904 Nebulon-B Frigate
Price: $39.99 Pieces: 459 Release date: October 1, 2020
Once destined to be an event-exclusive set, 77904 Nebulon-B Frigate’s limited release on LEGO.com at the start of the coronavirus pandemic makes this a difficult set to add to the collection and the only depiction of this ship in LEGO ever so far.
75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer
Price: £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 Pieces: 630 Release date: May 1, 2023
Three years after the Nebulon-B Frigate, 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer kickstarted the modern era of the collection with a similar style of display stand and a pair of small Star Destroyers.
75375 Millennium Falcon
Price: £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99 Pieces: 921 Release date: March 1, 2024
Coming on March 1, 75375 Millennium Falcon reinvents the original midi-scale set with over double the piece count and price. As well as additional details, it adds the display stand and a couple of printed elements on the stand.
75376 Tantive IV
Price: £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 654 Release date: March 1, 2024
75376 Tantive IV offers one of the smallest depictions of the ship in LEGO Star Wars to date with details including a missing escape pod and a secret inside. It’s also scheduled for launch on March 1, 2024.
75377 Invisible Hand
Price: £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 557 Release date: March 1, 2024
The third-least expensive LEGO Star Wars midi-scale set ever released is coming in March in the form of 75377 Invisible Hand for £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99. It’s also the only one to be based on the prequel trilogy.
