Every brand new LEGO set available from March 1, 2023

From Star Wars to Speed Champions, dozens of brand new LEGO sets are now available to order from the official online store.

March 1 has quickly become a day to remember in the LEGO calendar, as the LEGO Group has split its traditional winter wave across two release dates. The second of those is today, which means there’s plenty of new stuff to tempt you to part with your hard-earned cash. Highlights include a brand new LEGO Ideas set, three new Star Wars helmets and the year’s first batch of LEGO Harry Potter products.

Those are really just the tip of the iceberg, though, so dive in below for a full rundown of everything you can find on shelves (both real and virtual) from today.

LEGO BrickHeadz

The LEGO Group’s celebrations of Disney’s 100th anniversary are in full swing now, with three new BrickHeadz sets covering characters from across the company’s history. We can see 40619 EVE & WALL•E flying off shelves.

LEGO City

Four new LEGO City Stuntz sets are available now, each promising an increasingly wacky challenge for its included daredevil minifigures. A ring of fire sounds pretty hair-raising, but it’s got nothing on the ‘ultimate stunt riders challenge’, surely.

LEGO Classic

Are you ready to get creative? The LEGO Group sure hopes so, with four new LEGO Classic sets labelled ‘creative’ launching today. 11033 Creative Fantasy Universe stands out to us as a retro celebration of classic LEGO themes (those are definitely Lion Knights on the box), but they all look solid.

LEGO Creator 3-in-1

This year’s first wave of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets has something for everyone, from brick-built animals (that parrot is going straight on our to-buy list) to a very cosy-looking house in, erm, 31139 Cosy House. 31140 Magical Unicorn is an easy pocket money purchase, too.

LEGO Disney

Joining the three LEGO Disney BrickHeadz on shelves today (scroll up for those) is 43219 Disney Princess Creative Castles, a set that marks the debut of the DOTS storage trays beyond that now-retiring theme.

43219 Disney Princess Creative Castles£29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99140March 1, 2023

LEGO DOTS

Did we mention a retiring theme? Yep: LEGO DOTS has officially been shown the door, but there’s still one last wave of sets to collect from today. All three of these sets are anchored around the Wizarding World, as the arts and crafts theme seeks a magical last hurrah.

LEGO Harry Potter

There’s a fresh gimmick in town for LEGO Harry Potter, which has replaced its Hogwarts Moments books with a new wave of House Banners. For all intents and purposes, they’re the same thing: fold-away playsets that offer scenery for their minifigure to interact with. They’re joined by a new Deathly Hallows set and a remake of a classic 2005 model.

76420 Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake£39.99 / $44.99 / €44.99349March 1, 2023

LEGO Ideas

The latest LEGO Ideas set is lighting it up like dynamite, which in any other context would sound worryingly deadly. This is 21339 BTS Dynamite, though, which means we’re looking at a syrupy-sweet rendition of a music video. Fresh territory for the LEGO Group, for sure.

LEGO setPricePiecesRelease date
21339 BTS Dynamite£89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99749March 1, 2023

LEGO Marvel

Get us pictures of Spider-Man! Or, failing that, 4+ sets of Spidey and his pals. His amazing pals, if you will. To wit: three new Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets are now available, all geared towards younger builders, but with minifigures the rest of us will want to snap up, too. This is the way. (You know it’s only a matter of time before we get that crossover…)

LEGO setPricePiecesRelease date
10789 Spider-Man’s Car and Doc Ock£8.99 / $9.99 / €9.9948March 1, 2023

LEGO Speed Champions

Five new LEGO Speed Champions cars are racing on to shelves today across four different sets, and they genuinely look like some of the best since the theme switched to eight-studs-wide vehicles. You know a wave is good when 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione is the (relative) weak link…

LEGO Star Wars

The LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection just expanded yet again, this time with the subtheme’s first Clone Wars characters in Captain Rex and Commander Cody. Also joining the range today is Princess Leia’s Boushh disguise, which – given the lack of head underneath – is surely just Boushh…

LEGO setPricePiecesRelease date

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
