Every new piece in the LEGO summer 2026 sets
The LEGO summer 2026 sets are filled with all kinds of new elements to collect, from animals to character-specific parts and much more.
The many new LEGO models launching this summer across a wide variety of themes come with a swathe of new pieces to admire, one of which is going to change the way we build forever. You can take a look at all of the LEGO summer 2026 sets by clicking here.
Here’s every new element we’ve been able to spot in the LEGO summer 2026 sets using the official images. There may be more to be found once the sets are released in June and August, but here’s everything we’ve seen so far. Minor spoilers for the 2026 advent calendars will follow.
Animals
Animals make up most of the new pieces in the summer 2026 sets, including a pug in 60506 Classic Beach Streetcar and 60494 Dump Truck & Front End Loader. City will also debut a Reindeer calf in 60510 City Advent Calendar 2026.
Over in Friends, a stylised koala element will appear in 42701 Koala Habitat & Care Center, not long after the minifigure element was brought back in Build a Minifigure towers.
Harry Potter is debuting a trio of new animal elements, but in Patronus form. There’s a new transparent blue dog piece in 76471 Knockturn Alley Wizarding Shops, a deer in 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing and a flying form of the phoenix in 76478 Book Nook: Dumbledore’s Office.
LEGO Star Wars is also debuting an animal element in the form of an anooba piece for Keibu in 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown, and Gabby’s Dollhouse has two new cat-adjacent elements in 11212 Kitty Fairy Garden’s House and 11214 Fairy Roller Coaster and Tea Party.
Minifigure parts
There are several new minifigure elements to note in the summer 2026 sets, including a few from NINJAGO. There’s fresh headwear in 71870 The Twin Titan Mechs, 71871 Battle at the Dragon’s Blade and 71872 Ultra Dragon Battle, an Ice Monster mould in 71864 Kai and Cole’s Combiner Vehicles and a sword holster for minifigure hips in 71863 Zilvar and Grimtak.
Over in LEGO Marvel, the Iron Man and His Awesome Friends sets meant the debut of an Iron Hulk helmet sculpt in 11211 Loki vs. Team Iron Man and one for Ultron on 11209 Ultron vs. Iron Man. More notable is the fresh hood element for Dr. Doom in 76340 Marvel Advent Calendar 2026
Fortnite has four character-specific minifigure pieces to collect this summer, starting with the KIT head in 77081 KIT. This head piece depicts the cat which rides the rest of the mech minifigure. Fishstick has a new head sculpt in 77080 Supply Drop, and there are also specific elements for DJ Yonder and Aura in 77082 Rave Cave.
Other new minifigure pieces coming this summer include mini-doll fairy wings across Gabby’s Dollhouse and Friends, head and body elements in 11216 Grannies with Bingo and Bluey, as well as a new IG-11 head sculpt in 76456 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026.
Big pieces
Some new pieces in the summer 2026 sets are much larger than others, including the suitcase in 42697 Creative Dollhouse Suitcase and the new plane chassis with angled wings in 60492 Passenger Jet. 60480 Backhoe Loader also appears to be debuting two new bucket elements to better fit minifigure-scale vehicles.
Other new elements
Miscellaneous new pieces across the summer 2026 sets include a 2×3 rounded tile and a cartoon-style hand in 11217 Brick-Built Bluey Family. Several LEGO City and Friends models will also feature two halves of a rocky sphere, matching their larger variants. They’re being used for vases and rubble, so far.
LEGO Technic 42233 Mighty Machines Series 1 has two new elements to note, as well. These are a versatile cabin and bucket quarter piece, which can be combined to take seeral different forms depending on the vehicle.
