Exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Sheriff Deadpool minifigure at San Diego Comic Con

The first exclusive LEGO minifigure for San Diego Comic Con has been revealed to be Sheriff Deadpool.

When San Diego Comic Con arrives later this month, it will be an opportunity for LEGO fans in attendance to get hold of some all-new exclusives. As well as three exclusive sets, there will also be three exclusive minifigures – the first of which will be this LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Sheriff Deadpool.

Those with badges for the convention should follow instructions that have been e-mailed out and are available at the San Diego Comic Con website, explaining the lottery system for exclusives. Sheriff Deadpool will be given away for free to those who get lucky in the raffle, with quantities limited, the Hollywood Reporter reports. As Deadpool is a character who has not appeared in a LEGO set for some time, this is likely to be a sought after exclusive.

Two more exclusive minifigures will be out announced before the start of the convention, one based on DC Super Heroes and one based on The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

San Diego Comic Con runs from July 19 to 22.
