First details on LEGO 2025 sets – Ideas, Architecture, Jurassic World and more

The first rumoured details on next year’s LEGO Ideas, Architecture, Fortnite, Jurassic World and Art sets have surfaced online, and there are some real surprises in the mix.

We’re not even halfway through 2024 yet, but Instagram user fateful_lego has already dropped product numbers for dozens of sets supposedly coming our way in 2025. These join previous reports of product numbers for NINJAGO and DREAMZzz 2025 sets, which between them are said to be launching at least 38 new sets next year.

Five different themes are in the mix this time, chief among which is LEGO Ideas, if only because it’s apparently breaking its own record for crowdsourced sets released within a single calendar year. Check out all the details we have so far – and what they can tell us about these themes in 2025 already – below.

Rumoured LEGO Architecture 2025 sets

The LEGO Group has pared back the Architecture theme to a single annual release for the past few years, with 2024’s slot now occupied by 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris (which debuts in June). But according to fateful_lego, LEGO Architecture will be doubling its output in 2025 with two brand new sets, currently numbered 21062 and 21063. No prizes for guessing that sequence.

All the prizes if you manage to correctly guess what these end up being given we’ve got nothing else to go on, but the last time the LEGO Architecture theme put out two sets in one year was when the Skylines subtheme was still rocking. Could we be looking at a return to that format?

Rumoured LEGO Art 2025 sets

LEGO Art also looks to be surpassing this year’s number of releases in 2025, with four sets to 2024’s three (31211 Macaw Parrots, 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy and 31213 Mona Lisa). This is one of the LEGO Group’s most experimental themes at the moment, constantly pushing boundaries and exploring new directions, so colour us keen for this quartet even if we have no idea what they might end up being.

Rumoured LEGO Ideas 2025 sets

A total of 11 different LEGO Ideas sets will apparently hit shelves in 2025, which surpasses the previous record of nine sets in one year (set and then matched in 2022 and 2023 respectively). That’s even more interesting given there are currently only 11 LEGO Ideas sets in production, three of which are rumoured to be launching in 2024 – leaving only eight left to fill these 11 slots in 2025.

Of course, the LEGO Group could simply be earmarking product numbers for whatever it ends up approving in the third 2023 review or first 2024 review, and the later sets in this list could end up getting bumped to 2026. But it’s still surprising that they’ve already got a 2025 release date attached to them…

Rumoured LEGO Fortnite 2025 sets

An initial wave of LEGO Fortnite sets is said to be dropping later this year, but it apparently won’t be a one-and-done run: four more sets, numbered 77075 through 77078, are reportedly due to follow in 2025. Considering how little we know about the LEGO Fortnite 2024 sets, that we know even less about the supposed 2025 range is not especially surprising.

Rumoured LEGO Jurassic World 2025 sets

LEGO Jurassic World has been chugging along relatively quietly since the latest trilogy of movies wrapped up with Jurassic Word: Dominion, but the theme is apparently set to come out all dinos blazing in 2025 with nine different sets. The next Jurassic World movie is currently slated to arrive in cinemas in July 2025, so there’s a good chance the majority of these could be hooked to Gareth Edwards’ sequel.

All of these details should be taken with a hefty dose of salt for now, especially given how early this information has surfaced.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
