The first image of the upcoming LEGO 40478 Mini Disney Castle has been published on the official online store, revealing a minifigure in the set.

The LEGO Group has now released an official image for the new 40478 Mini Disney Castle via a collection of declaration of conformity documents. Whilst the first picture of the model is blurred, it does reveal that the build will be microscale and it will include a minifigure.

The small set, which will release later this year, possibly as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations for Walt Disney World. Following a previous listing on LEGO.com, the set has now been officially revealed with the updated castle model depicting the theme park icon in its classic gold, blue and white regalia.

As a microscale version of 71040 The Disney Castle, the finer details include what appears to be some kind of an exclusive design on an angular shield piece, possibly depicting either the clock or 50th anniversary signage present on the real-life castle.

A minifigure of Mickey Mouse is also included, greatly resembling the depiction from 71040 The Disney Castle, but seemingly missing the fabric elements and yellow bow tie.

We’ll let you know as soon as more details surrounding this upcoming Disney build are revealed, with a release seeming even more likely as the LEGO Group gears up for its launch.
