First look at LEGO Harry Potter’s connected East Wing

The LEGO Harry Potter design team has shared a new video going over the summer 2026 wave, giving us our first look at the connected East Wing.

George Gilliatt, joined by other members of the LEGO Harry Potter design team, has yet another wave overview on Instagram. This time it concerns the eight summer 2026 models, which will be released next month. The team go over the various details of each set, some of which have not been demonstrated in official imagery.

The best part of the video is the segment focusing on 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing, where the team is quick to demonstrate how it can connect to 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall. The two combine nicely to form a major part of the biggest modular Hogwarts model to date.

The bridges in 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing provide ample space for students to cross between them and access the different parts of the school, without looking out of scale. The smaller of those bridges even acts as a dock in the summer 2026 build, but can be moved up to be a bridge when the two sets are mixed.

Should this video have convinced you to pursue the combined build, you’ll want to pick up 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall before it retires later this year.

76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing features 13 minifigures and 2,164 pieces for £229.99 / $269.99 / €249.99. It’s one of the most expensive additions to the current modular Hogwarts collection yet, which is now practically complete.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
