First look at upcoming Bricktales LEGO video game

Developer Thunderful Games has posted a video of a playthrough of an early version of the company’s upcoming PC title, LEGO Bricktales.

Physics-based video game LEGO Bricktales is scheduled to arrive at some point in 2022, giving players a unique virtual building experience. Developer Thunderful Games previously revealed that the title will be coming to Steam on PC later this year, although no specific dates has been announced as of yet.

The good news is we can now take a first look at how the game is shaping up in an exclusive initial playthrough thanks to popular YouTuber, Drae. Although the game is still in its early stages, the footage shows off how players are sent on a series of adventures via a main portal hub area.

The main character’s grandfather is a genius inventor who has created an incredible amusement park. Following an accidental power overload, players have to figure out how to repair all of the various rides and attractions using strange alien technology.

If this early footage is anything to go by, then LEGO Bricktales will certainly be a very different beast than the recently-released LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from TT Games. However, if you’re more of a fan of LEGO Builder’ Journey, then this upcoming PC game might just be your sort of thing.
