First look at LEGO Monkie Kid 80020 White Dragon Horse Jet

A new review is giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming LEGO Monkie Kid 80020 White Dragon Horse Jet, the only set to not include the titular character.

The new wave of LEGO Monkie Kid is almost here, bringing some of the most unique models yet, even amongst the current selection. In a wave filled with eight-legged bases and mystical mountains, sometimes you just need a simple horse-shaped jet.

80020 White Dragon Horse Jet has now been reviewed by LEGO YouTuber Bricks by Mind and provides a first look at the Spring 2021 model, including the new Mei minifigure.

The White Dragon Horse Jet is the main build of the set, and upon first glance, it may be hard to spot the ‘horse’ part of the vehicle. Using a combination of SNOT techniques and gold detailing, the very front of the plane seems to resemble the long-faced animal. Moving along towards the back, scales represent a dragon and use a combination of angled and NEXO KNIGHTS shield bricks to add a splash of colour to the monotone model.

“Price aside, this is one of the better sets of the wave,” Bricks by Mind went on to say. “if it wasn’t for the price I may say this was my favourite but that price really ruins the set for me.”

LEGO Monkie Kid 80020 White Dragon Horse Jet comes with 565 pieces and three minifigures, not to mention Sandy’s cat. If you’re looking to pick up the model, then it launches on March 1 at LEGO.com for £34.99 / $49.99 / €39.99.
