First look at potential LEGO Vespa set on Creator listing

A Hungarian retailer may have revealed the first look at a LEGO Vespa set on a listing for the Creator 2022 40518 High-Speed Train build.

Brickset has reported that Hungarian website Kocka may have unveiled an image for a LEGO Creator Vespa model on a listing for 40518 High-Speed Train, which features lifestyle pictures not found on the official online store.

It features two wheels and curved elements that help it to form the distinctive shape of a Vespa, complete with a seat and an angled construction that gives it a sleek appearance.

The creation sits alongside four other LEGO Creator sets – 40469 Tuk Tuk, 40468 Yellow Taxi, 40518 High-Speed Train and 40220 London Bus. This might suggest that it too is an official model that is yet to be released or one that was potentially cancelled like the LEGO Marvel mechs.

A larger LEGO Vespa build was previously rumoured to release this year for €99.99, though the size of the pictured scooter may suggest that these reports were either misunderstood or that the LEGO Group could be launching two Vespa recreations in 2022.

The LEGO Group has not officially confirmed whether or not a LEGO Vespa is coming in 2022 at the time of writing, though there are plenty of new sets on the official online store to keep us occupied in the meantime.
