First look at LEGO City and Creator 2024 polybags

We now have our first look at new LEGO City and Creator 2024 polybags, thanks to an online retailer and the official Building Instructions page.

Multiple LEGO sets due to be released in summer 2024 have been revealed by German retailer JB Spielwaren this week, with first looks at over 100 upcoming builds from a variety of themes. Among those have been details of 12 new City sets arriving in the months to come, which will in turn be joined by a standalone polybag release.

In addition, a small Creator polybag will also be launching sometime this summer, although official details of either set have yet to appear on LEGO.com. However, the two builds below have already been added to the Building Instructions page, suggesting they may be incoming very soon.

30665 Baby Gorilla Encounter

Price: €3.99 Pieces: 34 Release date: TBC

Connecting to LEGO City’s jungle-themed models this summer is 30665 Baby Gorilla Encounter. The 60-piece polybag comes with what looks to be the exact same minifigure that’s included with 60426 Jungle Explorer Off-Road Vehicle, albeit with different accessories.

The polybag set is rounded out with a small diorama build, complete with pink frog and a new baby gorilla mould, with the latter also to be found in the upcoming 60437 Jungle Explorer Helicopter.

30670 Santa’s Sleigh Ride

Price: €3.99 Pieces: 73 Release date: TBC

The first festive build of 2024 may well be 30670 Santa’s Sleigh Ride, a Christmas-themed polybag. The set features a small brick-built version of Santa himself, as well as a reindeer and sleigh, complete with tiny presents.

Although the summer seems a little soon for the set to arrive, it’s possible the model may also appear as a promotional GWP later this year, but we don’t have confirmation of a concrete release date for the build at this stage.
