First Star Wars: The Acolyte trailer revealed

The first trailer for this summer’s Star Wars: The Acolyte series has been revealed, showcasing the first live-action look at the High Republic era.

Coming on June 4, Star Wars: The Acolyte is the latest streaming series for Disney+ set in a galaxy far, far away and puts the focus on an era of Star Wars that has only previously been seen in animation and books.

The High Republic was a prosperous time for Jedi, unlike the more recent eras of Star Wars and that prosperity is evident in the new trailer based on the sheer number of Jedi and younglings featured in scenes. You can watch the new trailer for yourself by clicking the video below.

While there are no LEGO Star Wars sets based on The Acolyte rumoured at the time of writing, a couple of ships can be spotted in the trailer in the LEGO Group wish to take some inspiration from the show. Otherwise, there’s plenty of chances for new minifigures and 75358 Tenoo Jedi Temple has already debuted High Republic robes on minifigure torsos too.

A new poster has also been revealed, following a blood-covered teaser poster from yesterday.

Two episodes of the series will arrive on Disney+ on June 4 and there are eight episodes in total. The Acolyte stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
