Five retiring LEGO sets not to miss out on

We’re set to say goodbye to a number of notable LEGO sets in 2023, including these retiring five we recommend not missing out on. It may only be March, but before you know it, a number of currently available LEGO sets will be retired and gone for good from LEGO stores.

Following our most recent update on the latest retiring LEGO sets due to be discontinued by the end of 2023, we have picked out five that – budget permitting – you absolutely cannot afford to let slip by.

And remember, a retirement date of December 2023 doesn’t mean availability up to that date – a retiring set may sell out weeks or months before then and never be restocked…

Alongside these picks we’ve also included our handy price comparison tool that automatically updates whenever a new deal on each LEGO set goes live, so be sure to check back through the year.

1. LEGO Ideas 21325 Medieval Blacksmith

Starting off with a classic, take a break from modern life with LEGO Ideas 21325 Medieval Blacksmith. Although Clemens Fiedler submitted the concept in 2017 and it achieved 10,000 supporters in July 2019, LEGO fans had to wait until February 2021 for the official release. This intricately detailed set features a moss-covered three-level building with breath-taking architectural details and furnished rooms that provide a glimpse into the life of a blacksmith during the Middle Ages. The top two levels can be lifted off for easy viewing. The workshop is equipped with tools and coal, and a glowing forge that can be activated with a LEGO light brick.
