Free LEGO Spider in-store make and take event announced

With the spooky season almost upon on, visitors to their local LEGO Store later this month will be able to pick up a suitably creepy model to make and take.

As the night’s begin to draw in, fans of all things that go bump in the night can start to look forward to the arrival of this year’s Halloween. As usual, the LEGO Group has already got into the spooky spirit, with 40697 Halloween Pumpkin currently still available as a GWP until October 14 (while stocks last) with spends over £110 / $120 / €120.

In addition, LEGO Stores are also gearing up for this year’s fright fest, by giving visitors the chance to take part in not one but two creepy events. For starters, those who make it to their nearest retail location later this month will be able to pick up a free LEGO Spider to either make there and then or take home and assemble later.

As in the US, the LEGO Spider promotion is now confirmed to be taking place in UK stores later this month, on October 26 from 10am to 12pm and then again on October 27 from 12pm to 2pm. Note that some European LEGO Stores will also be hosting the two-day event in October, so be sure to check your nearest location for timings. A limited quantity of the brick-built LEGO Spider model will be available each day, on a strictly first come first serve basis.

The upcoming promotion is in addition to a LEGO Wednesday event that’s scheduled for LEGO Stores between October 26 and November 1, with fans of the Netflix series able to pick up a free raven model.
