Getting a full set of 71039 Marvel Series 2 might be easier than you’d think

While some might worry that it might be harder to get a full set of 71039 Marvel Series 2, an official US listing suggests the opposite.

With 71039 Marvel Series 2 being the first CMF range to come in boxes, rather than the blind packs, it’s been a worry for those wanting the full set that it will be trickier to get each one. Instead of being able to feel for recognisable accessories or features, the boxes will make the experience truly blind.

However, a new listing on the official US LEGO online store has revealed that a pack of six minifigures will be available to buy all at once for $29.99. This works out as just $0.05 more expensive than buying six minifigures separately and would presumably guarantee that you get at least six of the 12 minifigures in one go.

The description of the box includes “a random selection of six characters”, so we’d hazard a guess that you wouldn’t get any repeats. Of course, this would still only bag you half of the full 12 characters, meaning you’d need to buy a second box to be in with a chance of getting all 12. This would then put you back. at risk of getting doubles, but at least your first six would be secured.

There’s no word yet on whether this six-pack box of 71039 Marvel Series 2 will also be available in other regions, only appearing on the US site for the moment. Fingers crossed that this becomes an option for collectors around the world, to reduce a little bit of that September 1 stress.
