Garfield snoozes into the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025
The third LEGO Ideas review of 2025 has adopted yet another 10K fan submission, this time in the tubby tabby form of Jim Davis’ lasagne-craving cat, Garfield.
More fan-designed models have been slowly making their way into the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025 over the past few weeks, with all kinds of impressive builds hoping to become physical sets at some point in the future.
The latest successful submission to reach the 10K mark is Garfield – Jim Davis’ Loveable, Lazy, Lasagne-Craving Cat!, a 1,453-piece model based on the hugely-successful comic strip created by the American cartoonist in 1976.
The work of Packatrix, Garfield – Jim Davis’ Loveable, Lazy, Lasagne-Craving Cat! was originally conceived for last year’s If We Could Turn Back Time challenge, but eventually repurposed as a full LEGO Ideas concept.
The brick-built feline was inspired by the character’s appearance from the 1980s, incorporating various visual changes that Jim Davis made to the character in that decade. The LEGO Ideas model features a rotatable head, plus poseable paws and toes, as well as a selection of eyes that can be swapped out to create alternate expressions.
Garfield – Jim Davis’ Loveable, Lazy, Lasagne-Craving Cat! joins the rest of the LEGO Ideas submissions currently sitting in the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025, with the results of which models will make it through the judging phase due to be revealed in the months to come.
