Get ready for LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 27 with Brick Search Plus
The best-ever Brick Search Plus minifigure scanner has launched in time for LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71048 Series 27, which was unofficially revealed on Tuesday.
Series 27 is expected to be the first CMF series of 2025 and will again come in blind cardboard box packaging, according to a listing from a US-based retailer. That is good news for Brick Search Plus members, who will have unlimited use of the new and improved minifigure scanner to discover which of the 12 new minifigures is inside.
Brick Search Plus’s minifigure scanner will read the scannable code on the base of a Series 27 box and instantly display the result in the same screen. Not only that but multiple boxes can be scanned at one time and the minifigure scanner also works without an internet connection, making it the quickest and most convenient minifigure scanner ever.
Minifigure hunters who are not yet Brick Search Plus members can join the club on an annual basis for £19.99 / $29.99 and receive a host of perks, including a £30 voucher for The Minifigure Store (UK and Europe; terms and conditions apply), and access to the full LEGO set back catalogue of more than 10,000 sets and the Brick Search Plus Discord server. The Discord server is where Brick Search Plus members can weigh in on future updates to the community-driven app and find out about future updates before anyone else.
Brick Search is available for iOS and Android devices, with more information on Brick Search Plus available on the Brick Search website.
71048 Series 27 is confirmed to include minifigures such as Crazy Cat Lover, Pirate Quartermaster and Wolfpack Beastmaster, with Wolfpack Beastmaster expected to be the most-wanted of the series. The full list of Series 27 minifigures can be seen below.

Prior to the addition of scannable codes to CMF boxes and the introduction of the first-of-its-kind Brick Search minifigure scanner in early 2024 there was no easy way to tell which minifigure was inside the blind box packaging. That led to frustration among LEGO fans and reports of boxes being opened in-store and left on the shelves if they didn’t contain the desired minifigure. Research carried out by Brick Search has found that more than 70% of LEGO fans believe that has happened less since the introduction of the Brick Search minifigure scanner.
71408 Series 27 will be released in 2025 and the Brick Search Plus minifigure scanner will be able to assist in the minifigure search as soon as the boxes hit the shelves.
