This LEGO set recreates a chunk of Green Hill Zone, the first level of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game. As such, fans of the same might recognise the checkerboard terrain, the palm tree, and, of course, the well-known loop for Sonic to show off his speed skills. Several other video game elements can also be found here, such as floating golden rings that Sonic can hold, a checkpoint post, a working springboard, and a pair of power-up boxes.
