Great Brick Safari LEGO exhibit coming to Twycross Zoo

The real life animals at Twycross Zoo, UK, will get some LEGO based company later this month, when the Great Brick Safari launches at the venue.

On October 20, visitors to Twycross Zoo will be able to go on the Great Brick Safari while visiting the real animals. The exhibit, put together by Bright Bricks, will be included in the regular admission price for visitors.

The exhibit is made up of 70 models representing 27 different animal species, using 882,339 LEGO bricks. Models include a Bengal tiger, an elephant and a gorilla. It took 7,586 hours in total to make all of the animal sculptures.

“We’re really looking forward to hosting the Great Brick Safari, which promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy. It’s a fun and engaging way of showcasing some of our amazing species, whilst welcoming some wonderful new animals to the zoo,” Karen Clarke, Chief Operating Officer at Twycross Zoo told Coventry Live.
