July’s best new LEGO sets slip to back order online

Two of July’s best new LEGO sets are on back order in the UK, but the same can’t be said for the overpriced Imperial Shuttle…

42232 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is currently on back order until July 14 in the UK, while 76356 Venom Bust will ship in 60 days. Both those sets sit at opposite ends of the price spectrum for July’s new releases, but not the quality spectrum – they’re each excellent models in their own ways, so it’s no surprise to see them snapped up so quickly.

By comparison, 42240 Aston Martin Aramco AMR25 and 75459 Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle are still available with immediate delivery, suggesting they’re not performing quite as strongly (or maybe just in line with expectations, if we’re being generous). The LEGO Star Wars ship in particular feels dramatically overpriced at £139.99 in the UK, though.

The genuinely good but perhaps more niche 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine is also available right now in the UK, while the LEGO Group seemingly has a decent handle on stock levels across the pond, as everything is still available to order now in the US.

These early indications paint a similar picture to our ranking of the five new July 2026 sets, with the latest Technic 1:8 megacar on top and Marvel’s best bust yet not far behind. It helps that 76356 Venom Bust is the cheapest set of the wave, too – and cheaper still than either of the previous two LEGO Marvel busts, 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust and 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust.

42232 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear, meanwhile, is arguably the best entry in the Technic Ultimate Concept Car series to date, and comes with a limited-time gift-with-purchase of 40894 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Steering Wheel. That one’s available until July 6, or while stock lasts… and in the UK at least, stock of the car itself is racing out the door.
