Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen’s LEGO biography now available in the US

The authorised biography of the LEGO Group’s third-generation owner, Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, has now been published in the US.

American LEGO fans you who have always wanted to take a deeper dive into the company’s 90 year history can now do so, thanks to the US launch of a new book. The LEGO Story: How a Little Toy Sparked the World’s Imagination presents a tell-all authorised biography that reveals how Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen’s family created the hugely-successful company that exists today.

The book was first published in Danish in 2021 and is written by award-winning author, Jens Anderson. The 432-page title not only charts the life and times of its former President and CEO, but also details how his grandfather, Ole Kirk Christiansen, established the company in 1932 and went on to transform it into the world-leading toy manufacturer it is today. The LEGO Story: How a Little Toy Sparked the World’s Imagination includes unique access to the LEGO archives, as well as exclusive interviews with Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen.

The book is lavishly-illustrated, with many never-before-seen photographs of the family, as well as images of rare LEGO models and promotional material, making it a must-have read.
