The LEGO Group has increased the allocation of Dustmark Keep again as the crowdfunding period for BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 draws to a close.
Only hours remain to pre-order your copies of Dustmark Keep, Coconut Cape, University of Science, Brick Railroad Locomotive and Hot Air Balloon, with a hard cut-off time and date of 12pm PT / 8pm BST on June 18 (today!). After that, the only way to get your hands on these sets will be via the aftermarket, or perhaps through the very small number of leftover copies that may eventually be sold through LEGO.com.
Following BrickLink’s dynamic allocation model, which allows the maximum number of 150,000 sets across all five models to be redistributed based on what’s selling best, Dustmark Keep now has a total allocation of 40,000 sets available to pre-order. Of those, 33,432 have been claimed at the time of writing. In short: it doesn’t look like it’s going to sell out after all.
Still, that’s a positive outcome once more for this flexible approach, ensuring nobody misses out (provided they’re able to pre-order within the nine-day crowdfunding window). Coconut Cape is the second-biggest seller this round at 23,547 copies pre-ordered, while Brick Railroad Locomotive is close behind. University of Science has just ticked over 20,000 sales, a figure Hot Air Balloon is on the brink of reaching too.

Remember: if you pre-order any of these sets the LEGO Group will place a temporary hold on the funds required in your account, but you won’t actually be charged properly until they ship, which is expected to happen in November.
