LEGO 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is back in stock (at last)

LEGO 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is back in stock online for the first time since selling out on the day of release.

The LEGO Group has clearly not had access to a time machine while developing its latest Back to the Future set, or else it would presumably have been better able to anticipate how popular the 3-in-1 model would be. As is, the supply chain has been woefully ill-prepared to meet demand for 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine, which means it’s spent most of its shelf life so far temporarily out of stock.

At the time of writing, however, it’s now back and available to purchase at LEGO.com in the UK and Europe, where the 1,872-piece set retails for £149.99 / €169.99. It’s still on back order until the end of May, but hey: at least you’ll get it eventually.

For more on what is undeniably the LEGO Group’s best attempt at the DeLorean to date (even if that brand name isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product), hit play on our video review above, head to our YouTube channel or check out our written review. We’ve also compiled a list of the best nerdy details packed into the set, which you can check out in video or written form.

If 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is out of stock again by the time you read this, keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for future updates. For now, where we’re going, we need… better product forecasting from the LEGO Group, please and thank you.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

You must have written this article at 4am!! I don’t know what’s going on today, but at 6am I found I had a back in stock email from a couple hours before, but already it was out of stock again. This evening I was browsing and saw it was available on back order….by the time I’d logged into my Lego account it was gone again!
